Nathan Barczi is associate pastor of Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Cambridge, Mass. His work as a pastor focuses on biblical and theological study and teaching within the local church, urban ministry, and the intersection of faith and vocation. His academic work has focused on the philosophical theology of Karl Barth, Thomas Aquinas and John Calvin, with particular application to the doctrine of creation. Prior to his ordination, Nathan worked for seven years as an economist for The Brattle Group, an economic consulting firm in Cambridge, Mass., specializing in applied microeconomic analysis pertaining to antitrust and intellectual property disputes. Nathan attained his Ph.D. in economics at MIT in 2007, and his master’s degree in systematic and philosophical theology from the University of Nottingham in 2014. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in theology, also at Nottingham.
