As an independent government and public affairs consultant, Jackie draws on her extensive senior-level industry and non-profit organization experience with policy issues impacting research, development and delivery of medicines, vaccines, and nutritional products. Her background includes long-standing engagement on global and regional health initiatives (e.g., EU legislation and WHO policies and programs), as well as active participation in public-private partnerships, such as the Gavi Alliance. Her corporate experience ranges from governmental and public affairs managerial positions at Wyeth, Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb, to oversight of company programs to provide needed vaccines to children in low-income countries (Wyeth, Pfizer).
Vaccine-related consulting projects have included: 1) coordination of public-private workshops (co-hosted by the Government of Sweden and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) for Gavi Board members and partners on “The Journey of a Vaccine”; 2) serving as lead author for an IFPMA-BIO article in the journal Vaccine on the research-based vaccine industry’s contribution to the Decade of Vaccines; and 3) development of an industry presentation for a January 2018 public-private consultation on vaccine market dynamics.
Jackie holds a J.D. from Fordham University Law School; an M.A. in International Communications from American University; and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
