Jasson Urbach is an economist with the Free Market Foundation (FMF). In 2001, he completed a Bachelors of Commerce with majors in Finance and Economics at the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. In 2002, he completed his honours in Economics and in July 2004 he completed his Masters in Economics. In August 2004, Jasson moved to Johannesburg where he began working for the Free Market Foundation, as well as Africa Fighting Malaria (AFM). In 2005, Jasson returned to his hometown of Durban and established new branches of the FMF and AFM. Jasson has published academic papers and has had a number of opinion pieces republished in the popular media.
