Isabelle Lousada founded the Amyloidosis Research Consortium in 2015, an AL amyloidosis patient and, and Chairman of the Amyloidosis Foundation. Isabelle is an experienced non-profit board director and pioneer in patient advocacy. She has designed and led innovative, global programs; connecting doctors, researchers, patients and International corporations to build meaningful communities. Over the past two decades, Isabelle's work has led to positive outcomes for patients, families and the wider medical community.
As an amyloidosis survivor, Isabelle possess deep degrees of empathy for those directly affected by the disease as well as those dedicated to finding a cure.
Her training as an architect influences her work from everything to vision, execution and team building.
