Company Overview
The Medical Countermeasure Systems (MCS) Joint Project Management Office plays a vital role in enhancing the U.S Department of Defense’s (DoD) strategy to prevent, diagnose, and treat the effects of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats and emerging infectious diseases (EIDs).

MCS is instrumental in protecting civilian and military populations against injury and disease caused by naturally encountered infectious agents as well as intentional exposure related to CBRN warfare.

Medical countermeasures are a critical component of chemical-biological layered defense. The medical solutions that MCS acquire and develop provide an initial layer of protection and enhance the diagnostic and post-exposure treatment processes that save lives and enable the warfighter to deter, prevent, protect, and mitigate the effects of CBRN and EID threats.
