Newly developed protein therapeutics continue to increasingly provide differentiated products for a range of applications from diabetes, cancer to autoimmune and orphan diseases. Novel platforms utilizing key advancements in chemical biology, protein engineering and synthetic biology, as well as advances in genomics and proteomics are enabling new therapies that are increasingly selective and more efficacious. This panel will review recent advances from technological perspective and discuss how these advance will fit into a coherent picture of novel therapies.
